Why Does Iruka Start With K-pop Instead Of TCG?

Iruka is built for physical fandom collectibles rather than gameplay-led cards. K-pop photocards are identified by artist, member, release, event or benefit, official source, condition, and grade. Iruka keeps that identity connected to transparent packs, verification, custody, trading, and physical Redemption. K-pop is the initial category because published consumer and commerce data shows meaningful demand for physical fandom goods. See Why Fandom Collectibles.

Do All Photocards Gain Value?

No. Category demand does not guarantee that an individual photocard will appreciate or remain liquid. Official issuance, exact variant, member demand, distribution scarcity, condition, grade, and comparable completed sales can all affect observed value. Iruka will omit an estimate when sufficiently matched market evidence is not available. Any displayed estimate is dated reference data, not a return or repurchase promise.

Does Every Card Need Professional Grading?

No. Professional grading adds cost and turnaround time and may not be economical for an accessible card. Iruka plans a documented identity, authentication, condition, photography, and custody track for eligible lower-price inventory. Eligible premium inventory may use certificate-verifiable third-party grading in addition to the same physical intake and custody controls.

How Does Iruka Expand Beyond K-pop?

Iruka plans to reuse the same Vending, Vault, Marketplace, and Redemption infrastructure for officially issued trot, cheerleader, and sports collectibles. Each category launches only after its physical supply, authentication, grading acceptance, metadata, value evidence, storage, and shipping controls are documented. New artwork or branded drops remain a separate licensed-IP process.

Do I Need A Wallet?

No wallet extension is required to browse or sign in. Privy assigns every signed-in account a user-controlled Iruka Wallet, whether the collector uses email, Google, MetaMask, or another supported EVM login method. The Iruka Wallet submits GIWA Sepolia test pulls. An external wallet is optional. It can fund the Iruka Wallet or receive a same-chain withdrawal. Current transfers use GIWA Sepolia test ETH only; commercial payment support is planned and will be documented separately.

Are Iruka Cards Authentic?

No commercial inventory is live today. Before launch, Iruka intends to list only physical cards that have completed the applicable authentication, photography, intake, and custody checks. A card is not marked Vaulted from a seller claim or certificate number alone.

How Can I Verify Pack Odds?

Each production batch will publish its inventory snapshot, total supply, individual card odds, rarity-tier odds, and GIWA commitments. The current testnet contract records the batch root, odds commitment, draw-seed root, requests, fulfillments, and remaining supply. The testnet design is commit-reveal, not VRF. Its limitations are documented in Onchain Architecture.

Is Rarity The Same As A Grade?

No. Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Iruka describe allocation within a pack. A physical grade describes card condition under an authentication or grading process. One label cannot substitute for the other.

Which Grading Companies Does Iruka Use?

BRG and CGC are under evaluation for eligible premium inventory. Iruka has not announced a partnership with either company. Lower-price inventory may use Iruka’s documented authentication and condition-record track instead of third-party grading. See Grading and Verification.

What Does GIWA Record?

The current GIWA Sepolia contract records pack-batch commitments, pull requests, fulfillment proofs, assigned inventory commitments, and remaining supply. Card images, grading evidence, storage locations, personal data, and shipping addresses stay offchain. The current contract does not mint ERC-721 ownership or settle USDC.

Can I Receive The Physical Card?

Not yet. Redemption and shipping are planned. Before launch, Iruka will publish supported regions, identity and address checks, fees, handling targets, tracking, and loss or damage procedures.

Are Packs Official Artist Or Agency Collaborations?

Not unless Iruka publishes a signed collaboration announcement. Resale records may use names only to identify genuine physical items. New artwork, branded packs, or licensed drops require rights-holder approval before release.

Is Estimated Value Guaranteed?

No. Any future estimated value will be a dated reference based on disclosed market evidence. It is not a guaranteed sale price, return, or repurchase offer.
