Status: In validation - The account inventory interface is live, but commercial intake, storage, and redemption operations are not live.
The Iruka Vault is intended to connect one digital inventory record to one verified physical card. A UI record, testnet pull, image, or certificate alone does not prove custody.

Custody State Model

Failed authentication, damaged intake, unresolved ownership, or missing storage records prevent the transition to Vaulted.

Required Custody Record

Each vaulted item must connect:
  • Unique inventoryId
  • Exact front and back photographs
  • Authentication or grading evidence
  • Intake and verification timestamps
  • Tamper-evident seal or slab identifiers
  • Controlled storage location reference
  • Current owner reference
  • Listing lock, if any
  • Redemption eligibility and status
  • Audit history for every state change
Sensitive storage locations and operator notes remain private. The public record shows only the evidence needed to understand status and eligibility.

Ownership And Custody

Physical custody and digital ownership are separate responsibilities. Iruka’s custody ledger records where the item is and whether it can move. Planned ERC-721 ownership will record who controls the eligible vaulted item. Production actions must fail closed:
  • An unverified item cannot become Vaulted.
  • A non-vaulted item cannot be listed.
  • A listed item cannot enter shipping.
  • A redemption-locked item cannot be sold.
  • A redeemed item cannot return to inventory without a new intake.

Operations To Publish Before Launch

Before commercial custody opens, Iruka will publish the legal custodian, storage controls, access policy, incident handling, inventory reconciliation, fees, supported items, and customer support process. No coverage, storage fee, or custody service level should be inferred until those terms are published.
