Product Vision

Iruka is Korea-first infrastructure for physical fandom collectibles, starting with K-pop photocards. It is designed to extend the same verified product rails to officially issued trot, cheerleader, and sports collectibles. Unlike a gameplay-led TCG catalog, a fandom collectible is identified by its artist or team, member or player, release, event or benefit, official source, condition, and grade. Iruka preserves that identity through one product: Vending → Reveal → Vault → Marketplace → Redemption The goal is not to turn an image into a collectible. It is to connect one genuine physical item to transparent pack rules, verification, controlled custody, trading, and physical delivery.

Why K-pop First

K-pop already has a global, collection-driven physical merchandise market. The Korea Consumer Agency found that 52.7% of surveyed K-pop fans had purchased albums to collect fandom goods. Weverse reported that its physical merchandise sales, including albums and collectibles, grew 10% year over year in 2024. These signals support K-pop as Iruka’s first category. They do not show that every photocard will rise in value. Each card still requires exact identity, condition, verification, custody, and completed-sale evidence. See Why Fandom Collectibles for the market sources, category model, and claim boundaries.

What Makes Iruka Different

Fandom-native identity

Catalog each item by artist or team, member or player, release, event or benefit, official source, and exact physical condition.

Verification matched to value

Use documented Iruka intake for accessible cards and certificate-verifiable third-party grading for eligible premium inventory.

One reusable collectible rail

Prove the complete K-pop flow first, then apply the same controls to trot, cheerleader, and sports collectibles.

Business Direction

Iruka starts with verified physical inventory because product trust must be proven before new IP is created around it.
  1. Verified physical inventory - establish sourcing, authentication, grading, Vault, marketplace, and redemption operations for genuine, officially issued cards.
  2. Licensed IP drops - create new cards and branded pack experiences only after rights holders approve the assets, product scope, territory, and distribution.
  3. Creator experiences - give approved creators controlled tools for original collectible releases.
  4. Iruka Universe - connect collection identity with moderated fan and collector communities.
This path expands the product without treating an artist name, image, or fan community as permission to create commercial merchandise. See Roadmap for the release gates and category expansion plan.

Current Product Status

Live applies only to the scope named in the same row. A successful testnet transaction does not mean commercial inventory, payment, custody, or shipping is operational.

Why GIWA

Iruka is a Korea-first consumer and RWA product. GIWA provides an EVM-compatible environment, public transaction verification, and approximately one-second blocks without requiring Iruka to create a separate wallet standard or contract toolchain. The current product uses GIWA Sepolia for pack commitments and Pull receipts. Future GIWA wallet and paymaster capabilities remain ecosystem direction, not features Iruka claims as live today.

Execution Evidence

Iruka separates product claims by how they can be checked. The immutable deployment snapshot is: These are technical execution records, not user, revenue, custody, or trading metrics. Contract addresses and transaction links are published in GIWA Contracts. Only links published here or on the Iruka website should be treated as official. Iruka does not imply affiliation with an artist, agency, label, manufacturer, grader, or other third party unless that relationship has been formally announced.
